The Maspalomas Lighthouse, one of Gran Canaria's most recognizable symbols, is located at the southern tip of the island where the Atlantic Ocean meets the famous Maspalomas dunes.

The lighthouse was built in the late 19th century and inaugurated in 1890. For over a century, it has guided ships sailing between Europe, Africa, and the Canary Islands. Standing almost 60 meters tall, the tower became a landmark for Atlantic maritime routes.

It is situated next to the Maspalomas Dunes Nature Reserve, one of the archipelago's most unique landscapes. The beaches, golden dunes, and the ocean create a coastal environment that has become one of the most emblematic spots in southern Gran Canaria.

Printed on premium 100% cotton canvas, this artwork conveys the atmosphere of a sunset on the island's southern coast. The scene reflects the calm of the Atlantic and the historic presence of the Maspalomas Lighthouse, a characteristic element of the landscape and maritime history of the Canary Islands.
